I have always enjoyed the arts of sewing, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and tatting.

It was always my desire to be able to draw and paint, but I did not think I could do that. Well, you are never too old to learn so the last few years I have been working on that. My favorite art form is painting on porcelain but I am also working some with watercolors.
The portrait shown under Shop Owner is a painting I did on an 8X10 porcelain tile from a portrait of me taken many years ago while I was in nurses' training.
My husband opened my ETSY site in 2008 for me to be able to sell some of my hand painted china, but, I never put anything on it. Our daughter Karen W (EllieMarieDesigns) helped me in 2013 learn how to enter items, but, still I did not get serious about this until the fall 2014.
Of course enjoying so many different forms of art, I have a variety of "stashes".

It is time for some "destashing" including some of the hand painted china. To get an idea of what "China painting" involves; Click on "Watch the Video" button at the top of the page. Or visit her Pinterest site
Our house needs some upkeep tasks but my husband and I are both 78 so these tasks have become too difficult for us to do. The things I sell on ETSY will help us to get some of these things such as house painting done.
Also I am now having to have some major, very expensive dental work done so any sales will help in this.
